Make it Monday #109

Happy Easter,

Here's a card I tried using the watercolor and embossing challenge by Betsy Veldman for PTI.   The paper is from PTI as is the stamp and I used distress inks as I have no reinkers.  I used a clear embossing powder that has some sparkes in them, a bit hard to see with the photo, but nice effect IRL.   I would have liked to have tried again as I had a little smudge on the sentiment and the photo is terrible, but it's a beautiful sunny day and I need to go prune my rosebushes!

Your Monday Wash

Since someone special is hosting this week, I'd thought I'd post for the first time in a long time! This is card made using watercolor paper and distress inks and then adding PTI's stamp set  "Through the Trees" embossed in black. 

PTI - Heart Challenge

This card uses PTI and Crate paper and the PTI Heart Prints stamp.

Moxie Fab World - Map to your Heart challenge

My friend and I were going on a trip that included London for a few days, so her Birthday Card had a map of London and suitcases for a theme. The map was a free image downloaded from the internet and the suitcase stamp is from Bella and the sentiment was a rub on.

Thought I'd try a tone-on-tone card with this sketch. Used papers from My Mind's Eye (Stella Rose Gertie) and a Bazill base. I also used a bit of PTI Chamomile ink along the edge of the paper. I'll give this to my sister for her Birthday.

Embellish Nautical Challenge

I finally have had time to make some cards again and just got a new sailboat stamp so perfect for this challenge.

Here's a nautical themed card for my brother who lives on the prairies. The sailboat stamp is Inkadinkadoo, all the paper with the exception of the patterned is from PTI as is the Baker's Twine. I used a PTI rick rack die to cut the waves and a MFT die for the clouds. The sentiment is form PTI as well. Happy sailing to you!
