WPLUS9 - Monday Mood Board #15

Here's a birthday card for a friend using MMB15 as the basis.   I was trying for the antique vase look in an animal print.  I just got my WPLUS9 order a few days ago and I think that Fresh Cut Florals will be well used.

Happy Canada Day Weekend!   I'm am so grateful to live in this wonderful country.  (Just wished there was a warm tropical island somewhere that belonged to Canada).

My pink dogwood in the background is almost done, but it's been in bloom for about a month now and I've really enjoyed looking out the den window - through all the rain - at the lovely pink flowers.

The sun is out today - my 3 year old grandson said " I don't see any clouds today. I think they're on holidays."

Here's a closeup of the vase.

Supplies:
Cardstock:  PTI White, Black and Fine Linen
Stamps: WPLUS9- Fresh Cut Florals, Stampendous - Simply Safari, Paper Smooches - Shadows
Dies: PTI - Gracious Vases
Other:  glitter, rhinestones, Crackle Accents, gold embossing powder, Roman Tiles embossing folder.

Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes!

Here's a birthday card made from a  Doodlefactory (Rooftop) and PTI Birthday Basics.   I did a bit of coloring with Copics and used tape and glitter for the spotlights. Paper by PTI as well.   Thanks for looking!

Make it Monday #121: Colored Vellum FLowers

I usually make a card with a specific recipient in mind and find inspiration in who they are.   I didn't have anyone in mind at first, but I thought the cards made using this technique were really beautiful so I decided to give it a try.  And I did think of someone that I want to thank!  I don't know if it's the type of white embossing powder I have or the ink I used, but the ink dyed the white embossing lines, which I didn't like and trashed.   So I tried again and colored the back side instead.   Paper is all from PTI as is the stamp:  Year of the Flowers:  Mums.  The thank you stamp is by Technique Tuesday.
